BIOGRAPHY

Name: Ginger Kroft Barnetson

Member Since: 2004

Ginger Kroft Barnetson is a member of the Sacramento Philharmonic, Carmel Bach Festival, Monterey Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, and Santa Cruz Symphony orchestras. In 2008, Ms. Barnetson was featured as a soloist with the Monterey Symphony, performing Joan Tower’s “Clarinet Concerto,” and the Carmel Bach Festival, performing the “Clarinet Concerto” by Mozart.  She collaborates with numerous San Francisco chamber music groups, including the Adorno Ensemble, Bridge Players and the Worn Ensemble. In addition, she is a faculty member at Santa Clara University and maintains a pre-college clarinet studio.

Ms. Barnetson holds music degrees from Northwestern University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she received a departmental award for Distinction in Performance.

Ms. Barnetson is a Vandoren International Artist, performing on M13-lyre clarinet mouthpieces with Traditional reeds.
