The beautiful Saroyan Theatre is the showcase of Fresno's Downtown Convention Center. With 2,353 luxuriously upholstered seats and superb acoustics, this performing arts theatre provides an ideal environment for broadway shows, plays, ballets, concerts and convention meetings.
The Saroyan Theatre is home to the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra, Fresno Broadway Series and Fresno Grand Opera. The theatre has hosted renowned stars such as Sir James Galway, Itzhak Perlman, and Isaac Stern. It has also played host to magician David Copperfield and the Broadway shows Les Miserables, Cats, The Sound of Music, Evita, Chicago, and Riverdance.
The theatre's high technical quality adds to the enjoyment of every performance. The theatre's spectacular lobby is appointed with solid cast brass doors, glistening chandeliers, and hardwood accents. It makes a perfectly elegant setting for receptions, and social gatherings.

From Southbound 99 Fwy:
Take the Ventura/Kings Canyon exit, east. Then left onto "O" Street and left into the parking lot.
From Northbound 99 Fwy:
Merge onto Fwy 41 north and take the Van Ness (Civic Center) exit. Turn left onto Van Ness Avenue and make a right onto Ventura Street. When you reach "O" Street, turn left. The parking lot entrance will be on the left.
From Southbound 41 Fwy:
Take the "O" Street exit and turn right onto "O" Street. Continue north to the parking lot entrance. The entrance will be on the left.
