The Fresno Philharmonic is committed to responding to the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in a manner that is responsible and in the best interests of our patrons, employees, and community.
Like all symphony orchestras, the Fresno Philharmonic depends upon the support of the community we serve. As we navigate these uncertain times, your continued support is more vital than ever. We also invite you to please stay in touch with us via our website, social media platforms, and emails.
Audience COVID Procedures
We at the Fresno Philharmonic are excited to welcome back our fans, friends and family for live in-person concerts during our 2021-2022 season. Our events currently require patrons to be either fully vaccinated against, or recently tested for COVID-19. These procedures will remain in effect until further notice.
FULLY VACCINATED
To be very clear, fully vaccinated means that either the first dose of the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, or the second dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer/BioNTech Vaccines have been administered at least two weeks prior to the concert. Patrons must bring either their vaccination card, a digital photo of their card, a legible photocopy of their card, or a digital version of their vaccination record (Healthvana, CDPH, etc.) They must also bring a photo ID.
NEGATIVE TEST RESULT
Patrons may also present a negative test result in order to gain admission to our events. Either an FDA approved PCR or Antigen test result will be accepted. PCR tests results will need to be within 48 hours of the event. Antigen test results will need to be within 24 hours of the event. Any test results should be issued by either a physician, or a CLIA certified laboratory. Digital versions or photocopies of results will be accepted. All patrons will need to have a photo ID.
MASKING
In accordance with state COVID-19 guidelines, all unvaccinated audience members are required to wear a face mask at all times while inside the venue. Wearing a face mask is recommended for all attendees of indoor concert events regardless of vaccination status. The following persons are exempt from the mask requirement:
•Persons younger than two years old. Very young children must not wear a mask because of the risk of suffocation.
•Persons with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a mask. This includes persons with a medical condition for whom wearing a mask could obstruct breathing or who are unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove a mask without assistance.
•Persons who are hearing impaired, or communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication.
•Persons for whom wearing a mask would create a risk to the person related to their work, as determined by local, state, or federal regulators or workplace safety guidelines.
