Event Description

The Fresno Philharmonic launches its 2020-2021 Digital Masterworks Series with a concert exploring connections between present and past. American composer William Bolcom's Commedia is a witty commentary on the classical symphonic style of Haydn. The music of Adolphus Hailstork, hailed as the dean of African-American composers, is also steeped in the classical tradition.
