Join Rei Hotoda and the Fresno Philharmonic for an evening of powerful and innovative musical brilliance. The centerpiece is Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, a bold and lively masterpiece that was still being shaped at its premiere and has since become one of the most celebrated works in classical music. Pianist Jon Kimura Parker joins the orchestra as soloist. The program also features Ravel’s elegant Le Tombeau de Couperin, written in honor of fallen friends, and Sibelius’s majestic and structure-bending Symphony No. 5.
