Fresno, CA
This very special program of chamber works and a symphony spotlights principal players of the Fresno Philharmonic. A brass quintet begins by performing Anthony Di Lorenzo's Fire Dance. A wind quintet follows with Barber's fluttering Summer Music, Op. 31, and the first half concludes with Dvořák's String Quartet No. 12, Op. 96. Rei Hotoda leads a chamber orchestra in the program's second half with Schumann's Symphony No. 2 in C Major, Op. 61.
Presented in a single Sunday afternoon performance, this is an event for chamber music and symphony lovers alike!

The Fresno Philharmonic is funded in part by the City of Fresno Measure P Expanded Access to Arts and Culture Fund administered by the Fresno Arts Council.
