Proxima: Music for the Next Century

The Fresno Philharmonic and the Fresno State Department of Music present Proxima, a FREE concert of new music performed by musicians of the Fresno Philharmonic and Music Director Rei Hotoda. This concert will take place on February 20, 2019 at 7:30pm in the Ellipse Gallery of the Henry Madden Library at Fresno State. The program will include works by Kenneth Froelich, Jack Fortner, Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, Andrea Clearfield, Danielle Fisher, Mason Lamb (Winner of Student competition), Vera Ivanova, and Zachary Wadsworth.

The concert will feature:
Rei Hotoda, piano
Heather Gardner, soprano
Caitlin McSherry, violin
Calvin Lewis, violin
Martha Brody, viola
Drew Ford, cello
Bruce Bransby, bass

A Parking permit will need to be purchased for $4 to park on the Fresno State Campus, parking permits can be purchased in the green parking lots but can be used to park in yellow lots after 6pm. See Campus Map here

This is a free event, no tickets or advance reservations required.
