Annual Giving
The Fresno Philharmonic Annual Fund is integral to building a vibrant orchestra with strong education and outreach programs. Annual Fund donors enjoy exclusive benefits and there are many ways to give, including annually, monthly, or through gifts of appreciated stock. Many Annual Fund donors make gifts in memory or honor of loved ones—a wonderful way to pay tribute while highlighting the importance of the Fresno Philharmonic in our community.

Planned Giving
he Fresno Philharmonic’s Encore Society recognizes and honors individuals who have included the Fresno Philharmonic in their estate plans or made a significant contribution to the endowment fund.
The community leaders who joined together in 1954 to create the Fresno Philharmonic had a vision to present great music that enriches lives, inspires passion for classical music, and connect audiences to history. To support that vision, we rely on the many generous individuals who support our Annual Fund and those members of our Encore Society, who with their legacy gifts to the endowment provide funding for the Philharmonic in perpetuity.
You don’t need to be wealthy to include the Fresno Philharmonic in your estate plans and there are many ways to do it. The following are just a few examples of ways you might make a charitable gift through planned giving and become a member of the Encore Society:
- Include a gift to the Fresno Philharmonic in your will or revocable trust.
- Designate the Fresno Philharmonic as a beneficiary in your retirement plan.
- Name the Fresno Philharmonic as a beneficiary or owner of an existing life insurance policy or purchase a new policy to benefit the Fresno Philharmonic.
Your gift can support the endowment, general operations or be applied to a particular concert or education program. In addition to potential tax benefits, Encore Society members receive special benefits that include invitations to Fresno Philharmonic donor events and recognition in the Encore Society listing in the concert program books throughout the concert season.
